If you’re considering a ring made of an unusual material, such as resin, titanium, tungsten, ceramic, jade, or wood, keep in mind that these rings cannot be resized. This is due to the inability of the ring’s composition to be cut and bent, as opposed to rings made of metals such as silver, gold, platinum and palladium. So, if you’re set on a ring made of one of these unconventional materials, make sure your finger is properly sized before you buy.

If you’re unsure whether your ring can be resized, we’re here to help and will collaborate with you to find a solution that meets your specific requirements.

At Fidda & Katina, we understand that your rings are more than just jewellery – they’re sentimental pieces that hold a lot of meaning. There is no set limit to the number of times a ring can be sized. If your ring is made with high-quality materials, it can be resized as many times as you like. However, keep in mind that each time a ring is resized, its structure may degrade slightly. But that doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to your beloved piece of jewellery. With proper care, your ring can last a lifetime. So if you plan on wearing your ring for a lifetime, it’s best to get it resized only when absolutely necessary, and keep up with the maintenance of your ring to increase its longevity.
